More women in top positions of listed companies

What changes?

Is your company listed? At least 1 in 3 members of the supervisory board (raad van commisarissen, rvc) must be female. You will need to start this transition as soon as a position on the board becomes available. You can appoint a male board member again once at least 1 in 3 members is a woman.

You must also draw up a plan to appoint more women in top managerial positions. You report each year to the Social and Economic Council of the Netherlands (Sociaal-Economische Raad, SER).

When?

This change in regulation will enter into force on 1 January 2022.
