Aircraft Industry subsidy – Topsector High Tech

Is your company or knowledge institute active in the aircraft industry? And do you have a project which contributes to the sustainability of aviation? You can apply for the Top sector High Tech Aircraft Industry subsidy (TSH Vliegtuigmaaksubsidie, in Dutch).

Who can apply?

The subsidy is meant for partnerships of companies or partnerships of companies and knowledge institutes. Your project must meet the conditions (in Dutch), for instance:

  • Your project increases the sustainability of aviation, especially through developing technology for cleaner aircraft.
  • Your project focusses on achieving the Dutch climate goals (in Dutch) and on strengthening the economic prospects for the aviation industry in the Netherlands.
  • Your project helps implement the results of the Research Committee’s survey of the Dutch aviation sector (in Dutch).
  • Your project strengthens the status of the Netherlands as a leader in aviation in Europe.

This subsidy has €9.5 million available in 2021. Each participant in a partnership receives a minimum of €125,000. You can apply for a minimum of €500,000 and maximum of €4,000,000 per project.

How to apply?

You can apply for the Top Sector High Tech Aircraft Industry subsidy until 24 August 2021, 17:00 hours. You need at least Level 2+ eHerkenning with authorisation for RVO services level 2+ to apply. It takes 1 to 5 working days on average to apply for an eHerkenning key, so make sure you do this in time.
