Did you create an application using open data from the Dutch government? You can compete for the Stuiveling Open Data Award.

Did you create an application using open data from the Dutch government, such as a website, app or visualisation? You could compete for the Stuiveling Open Data Award (SODA, in Dutch).

The SODA was awarded from 2016 through 2020. In 2022 SODA will be available again. The winner will receive a challenge trophy and a monetary prize. The prize is meant to further development of the application. Using or reusing open data for added social, democratic or economical value is paramount.

Who can apply?

  • you created an application using open data from the Dutch government
  • if you enter a new application, you have at least 1 working prototype
  • you are an existing company or a start-up, or a government or societal organisation

How to apply?

You cannot apply at the moment. It is expected SODA will open again in 2022.
