Small Business Security subsidy scheme

If you run a small business in the Netherlands and you want to increase its security, you may qualify for the Small Business Security (Veiligheid Kleine Bedrijven, VKB) procedure. Small businesses (to 50 employees) can have a free VKB scan done. The scan tells what the most appropriate safety measures to invest in are.

When do you qualify?

Your business has no more than 50 full-time employees. You may also qualify if your business has no more than 5 branches. Minimum participation is 10 entrepreneurs in an area, for example a shopping district.
