Landlords in the social rented sector may apply for a subsidy for the implementation of energy-saving measures for their dwellings (STEP, Stimuleringsregeling energieprestatie huursector). This subsidy is available both to housing corporations and other landlords.
Energy-saving Fund rented housing sector (FEH)
Landlords who are planning an energy efficient renovation for at least 5 of their dwellings, may be eligible for an Energy-saving Fund loan (FEH, Fonds energiebesparing huursector). This Fund applies to dwellings both under and above the social housing rent limit.
When do you qualify?
- For STEP: the home's rental price must be below the social housing rent limit.
- The subsidy amount depends on the actual energy index of the dwelling at the time of the application.
