Do you produce renewable energy or do you use techniques that reduce CO2? You can apply for a subsidy through the Sustainable Energy Transition subsidy scheme (Stimulering Duurzame Energietransitie, SDE++). This is a subsidy for a period of 12 or 15 years, depending on the technology you use.

The following energy techniques are eligible for SDE++:

  • renewable electricity
  • renewable heat and CHP
  • renewable gas
  • low-carbon heat
  • low-carbon production

When do you qualify?

To be eligible for this subsidy You must meet the conditions. You can apply if you are the intended producer: your company will realise and operate a production facility. You have to conduct a feasibility study (in Dutch). There are different requirements for different categories.

How to apply?

You can no longer apply for the SDE++ subsidy to the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO, in Dutch). You could apply from 28 June 09:00 hours until 6 October 2022, 17:00 hours.
