Do you produce or sell flavoured e-cigarettes or e-liquids? There is a ban on e-cigarettes with flavours, such as strawberry, mango, hazelnut paste, or mojito. Tobacco flavours are still allowed. This way, children and young people are not encouraged to take up vaping. Smokers can still use e-cigarettes as a means to quit smoking.
The production of flavoured e-cigarettes and refill e-liquids is banned from 1 July 2023. A sell-out period applies until 1 January 2024 so shops can sell their stock.

When?
The change to the 'Tobacco and smoking regulation to regulate flavours for e-cigarettes' (Tabaks- en rookwarenregeling ter regulering van smaken voor e-sigaretten) has come into force on 1 January 2023. The ban on the production of flavoured e-cigarettes and refill e-liquids took effect on 1 July 2023. A sell-out period applies until 1 January 2024.
