Do you sell flavoured e-cigarettes or e-liquids? There will be a ban on e-cigarettes with flavours such as strawberry, mango, hazelnut paste or mojito. Tobacco flavours will still be allowed. This way, children and young people are not encouraged to take up vaping. Smokers can still use e-cigarettes as a means to quit smoking.
The production of flavoured e-cigarettes and refill e-liquids will be banned from 1 July 2023. Then a sell-out period will apply until 1 October 2023 so shops can sell their stock.

When?
The change to the 'Tobacco and smoking regulation to regulate flavours for e-cigarettes' (Tabaks- en rookwarenregeling ter regulering van smaken voor e-sigaretten) will enter into force on 1 January 2023. The ban on the production of flavoured e-cigarettes and refill e-liquids is effective from 1 July 2023. A selll-out period applies until 1 October 2023.
