Do you sell flavoured e-cigarettes or e-liquids? There will be a ban on e-cigarettes with flavours such as strawberry, mango, hazelnut paste or mojito. Tobacco flavours will still be allowed. This way, children and young people are not encouraged to take up vaping. Smokers can still use e-cigarettes as a means to quit smoking.

For whom?

  • Manufacturers and importers of e-cigarettes
  • Owners of e-cigarette selling points

The ban on flavoured e-cigarettes is expected to enter into force on 1 January 2023.

Please note: The effective date of this measure is not yet final. Entry into force is subject to its passing through the upper and lower houses of parliament or proclamation of the Order in Council (Algemene Maatregel van Bestuur, AMvB) or ministerial decree and publication in the Staatsblad or Staatscourant (Government Gazette, in Dutch).
