On 1 July 2024 the mandatory hourly minimum wage will go up. The minimum wage is indexed (adjusted) every six months, to rise along with collective labour agreements (CAO) wages. On 1 July there will be an extra 1.2% increase of the minimum hourly wage.
The minimum wage is expected to be raised from €13.27 per hour to at least €13.43 per hour. The exact increase depends on the six-monthly indexation.
