Mining permit for extracting limestone

Do you want to extract limestone? You need to apply for a mining permit for extracting limestone (marl) to the province of Limburg. The permit states when and for how long you may use the quarry and for which purpose.

Mining permit for other purposes

Do you want to use the limestone quarry for other purposes? For instance for:

  • hospitality
  • (guided) tours
  • mushroom cultivation
  • bat census
  • geology

You need to apply for a mining permit for other purposes to the province of Limburg. The permit specifies when and for how long you may use the quarry and for which purpose.
