Wadden fund subsidy scheme Stuw '24 (Friesland, Groningen, Noord-Holland)

Do you run a sustainability project in the Wadden area (Waddengebied)? You can apply for a subsidy under the Subsidy scheme Thematic Implementation Wadden fund (Stuw '24) (Subsidieregeling Thematische Uitvoering Waddenfonds). You can apply for at most €1,000,000.

Who can apply?

To be eligible for a subsidy from the Wadden fund several conditions apply, among others:

  • The location of your project is in the working area of the Wadden fund (pdf), i.e. the coastal area of 1 the 3 provinces bordering the Wadden Sea.
  • Your project is meant to solve a problem in the Wadden area.
  • Your project covers at least 1 of the main themes (in Dutch) of the Wadden fund. For instance sustainable energy, development of the landscape or strengthening ecology.

Co-financing Wadden fund Noord-Holland

Do you already receive funding from the Wadden fund? And is your project located in or aimed at the Noord-Holland part of the Wadden area? You can apply for extra funding to the province of Noord-Holland (Co-financing Wadden fund, in Dutch). You can get 10% of your costs reimbursed with a maximum of €500,000.

How to apply?

You can apply for the subsidy scheme Thematic Implementation Wadden Fund from 1 May 10:00 hours until 3 December 2024 12:00 hours. The application form and other required documents for the application can be found under ‘Aanvraag opstellen’ on the Wadden Fund website. To send in your application, follow the instructions listed below ‘Verzending van uw aanvraag’.
