Innovation Fund Noord-Holland

Do you run a small or medium enterprise or a startup in the province Noord-Holland? And are you planning a proof-of-concept project, in which you will prove the efficacy of an innovation? You may be eligible for a loan with the Innovation Fund Noord-Holland(Innovatiefonds Noord-Holland, in Dutch). You can take out a loan between €50,000 and €300,000.
The duration of the loan is at most 10 years. It is a convertible loan, meaning you do not have to pay anything back in the first few years. After that, the loan will be converted to a regular loan or shares in your company. The interest rate is specified on the website.
When do you qualify?
You qualify for a loan if:
- Your company is based in Noord-Holland
- Your proof-of-concept project contributes to the Noord-Holland economy
- You, your company, your employees, and ultimate beneficial owner (UBO) meet the demands for integrity, as set out in the Public Administration Act (Bibob), and socially responsible entrepreneurship
