All companies to get NCSC information on cyber threats

What changes?

Does your company use network systems and information systems? The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) and the Digital Trust Centre (DTC) will be allowed to offer information to non-essential companies regarding threats and incidents concerning information. NCSC and DTC may currently only report such problems to essential businesses and governmental units.

This means that all companies may receive specific, sensitive information on cyber threats from the NCSC and the DTC.

When?

This change in the Network and Information Systems Security Act (Wet beveiliging netwerk- en informatiesystemen, Wbni) will enter into force on 1 Decmeber 2022.
