Effective date of this change in law: not yet known

What changes?

Are you a self-employed professional without staff or a director-major shareholder dga and do you have debts? Government organisations and bailiffs will exchange information about foreclosure and settlements of people with debts. To facilitate the exchange of data, a joint information system will be set up for, among others, bailiffs, municipalities, water boards, UWV, the Tax and Customs Administration, and the Central Judicial Collection Agency (CJIB).

The information system is part of the programme Streamlining chain for third-Party foreclosure from the Simplification of attachment-exempt threshold act. The system is intended to prevent multiple parties from simultaneously seizing your income or the income of your employee.

For whom?

  • self-employed professionals (without staff) and dgas with debts
  • employers and employees with debts

When?

It is not yet known when this change will come into effect.
