Netherlands Enterprise Agency, RVO

Effective date: 1 January 2022

What changes?

As of 1 January 2022, the Inspectorate SZW will be named ‘Netherlands Labour Authority’. Reasons for this change are the introduction of the European Labour Authority (ELA) and the fact that the term Labour Authority is much more common and a better description of this body.

The Netherlands Labour Authority checks if businesses/employers comply with labour laws, and decisions and regulations on labour. These include the Minimum Wage Act, the Working Conditions Act, and the Working Hours Act.

For whom?

  • all entrepreneurs

When?

This change enters into effect on 1 January 2022.
