Mandatory phytosanitary certificate for fruit and vegetables to the UK

What changes?

Do you export fruit, vegetables, or cut flowers to the United Kingdom? From 1 July 2022, you must add a phytosanitary export certificate to the products you export. Your products must also be inspected by the Quality Control Bureau (KCB). This change is due to new rules introduced after Brexit.

The phytosanitary certificate is mandatory for export to countries outside the European Union.

When?

This change will come into effect on 1 July 2022.
