Plain packaging for vapes and cigars

What changes?

Do you sell cigars and e-cigarettes (vapes)? Soon these products will have to be sold in neutral packaging. This plain packaging requirement already applies to cigarettes and rolling tobacco since 2020.

Currently packaging for vapes and cigars is often made to look attractive. They may have a look of luxury, for example. The requirement of neutral packaging for vapes and cigars, should limit the appeal of the products.

This change takes effect on 1 July 2025.
