About UWV (Employee Insurance Agency)

The Employee Insurance Agency (Uitvoeringsinstituut Werknemersverzekeringen, UWV) is a non-departmental public body that implements employee insurance policies, and provides labour market and data services. You will find several articles on Business.gov.nl to which UWV has contributed.

What does the Employee Insurance Agency do?

The Employee Insurance Agency operates on behalf of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment. It is responsible for employee insurance in the Netherlands. Examples of this include:
