Types of public-sector funding in the Startup Box
This tool includes 4 financing types:
- Credit: A loan that must be repaid over time. Suitable for startups developing a new product or service.
- A fiscal measure: A tax-related benefit or deduction. Suitable for startups researching feasibility or developing a new product or service.
- Credit guarantee: A guarantee from the Dutch government to help secure bank credit or another type of loan. Suitable for startups entering the market or accelerating growth.
- Equity: Funding in exchange for shares in your company. Or a loan that converts to shares later. Suitable for startups entering the market or scaling up.
