The Social Insurance Bank sees to it that state insurances such as pension, child benefit, and surviving dependents benefits are paid correctly.

The Dutch Social Insurance Bank (Sociale Verzekeringsbank, SVB) is the organisation that implements national insurance schemes within the Netherlands. SVB is responsible for the following benefits and allowances:

  • Child benefit (Kinderbijslag)
  • Old-age pensions (Algemene Ouderdomswet, AOW)
  • Surviving dependents benefit (Algemene Nabestaandenwet, ANW)

SVB ensures that you, your children, or your parents receive the correct child benefit, old-age pension, or surviving dependants benefit on time. For additional information about new or existing benefits or social security, please contact SVB.
