Does your organisation offers civic integration courses in the Netherlands? Only if your integration school has the Blik op Werk Integration Quality Mark can municpalities purchase an integration programme from you. And only with this quality mark participants qualify for a DUO allowance for your integration course from the Education Executive Agency (Dienst Uitvoering Onderwijs, DUO).

Apply for an Integration Quality Mark

To apply for the Integration Quality Mark you must meet a number of quality requirements (in Dutch). To assure the quality of your organisation, the Blik op Werk Foundation examines factors such as:

  • quality of teaching
  • quality of your personnel
  • business processes of the school
  • supervision of students
  • satisfaction of students
  • success rate

If you have received the quality mark, your school will be included on a list of approved schools, which students can choose from. DUO also advises persons integrating to choose a school from this list. The Ministry of Education, Culture and Science (Ministerie van Onderwijs, Cultuur en Wetenschap, OCW) must designate you as an examination body.

The quality mark will initially be awarded for a limited period.
