With the Environment Act, the permits for building, housing, monuments, space, nature and environment are merged. This allows you to arrange several permits at once. There is one application and one procedure.

An environmental permit can be granted for several activities. This means that multiple activities can be granted in a single environmental permit. The Environment Act lists these activities. Examples are building, acting in violation of the zoning plan and felling.

Inseparability is dropped under the Environment Act (except for an environmentally harmful activity in combination with a water activity). This means that the applicant chooses the order. For example, the competent authority can no longer have the activity ‘’acting in violation of RO rules’’ automatically added to the activity ‘’building’’. As far as it is estimable for the competent authority, there is, however, an obligation to provide information about the necessary permits.

The Environmental Counter website allows you to do a permit check.
