Municipality Olst-Wijhe: Applying for an environment and planning permit
Do you want to know if you have to submit a notification or if you need an all-in-one permit for physical aspects (omgevingsvergunning)? You can do an online permit check on the online service counter (omgevingsloket in Dutch).
The conditions you must meet depend on the work you want to perform. When you do the permit check and submit the application in the Environment Desk, you will automatically come across the conditions.
- Run a permit check to see if you need a permit or if you must submit a notification.
- If you need a permit, you can apply for it at once online on Omgevingsloket or send in a written application. Log in with DigiD (for individuals) or eHerkenning (for businesses).
- If you have to submit a notification, you can do so at once on Omgevingsloket. Log in with DigiD (for individeuals) or eHerkenning (for businesses).
Not sure if you can get an environmental permit for your plan? Then first submit a sketch plan to us. We will then assess what is and what is not possible and let you know. For complicated plans, we invite you for a preliminary consultation.
Reporting is free. Do you need an environmental permit? Then you pay fees. The amount of the fee depends on your application.
There are two procedures for an environmental permit: the regular and the extended procedure. The regular procedure applies to most plans. With the regular procedure, you will receive a decision on your application within 8 weeks. After that, objections and appeals are still possible. We may extend the decision period once by 6 weeks. The extended procedure only applies in special cases. The decision period is then 6 months. We may also extend this decision period once by 6 weeks.
With the regular procedure
You can object to the decision on your application. Do this within 6 weeks after you have decided on your application. Do you then disagree with the decision on the notice of objection? Then file an appeal with the court.
With the extended procedure
You can submit an opinion against the draft environmental permit on your application. Do this within 6 weeks after publication of the draft environmental permit. Do you then disagree with the statement? Then file an appeal with the court. Do you still disagree with the judge’s decision? Then you still have the option of appealing to the Council of State.
