Municipality Tiel: Applying for an environment and planning permit

• If you apply for an environmental permit for your home, you will need your DigiD.
• If you apply for an environmental permit for your company, you need eHerkenning.

It also depends on your application which documents and data you need. For example, think of:

• construction calculation or construction drawing
• floor plans of the building (scale 1:100)
• a situation drawing (scale 1:1000 to 1:1500)
• a drawing of the facade views (scale 1:100)
• cross-sections and longitudinal sections (scale 1:100)
• details about the appearance of the structure

Make sure you enclose drawings that show the current and new situation.

1. Go to Omgevingsloket online (the online environment service counter, in Dutch).
2. Run a permit check to see if you need a permit or if you must submit a notification.
3. If you need a permit, you can apply for it at once online on Omgevingsloket or send in a written application. Log in with DigiD (for individuals) or eHerkenning (for businesses).
4. If you have to submit a notification, you can do so at once on Omgevingsloket. Log in with DigiD (for individeuals) or eHerkenning (for businesses).

Do you want to object? In this case, the following rules apply.

• For a standard all-in-one permit for physical aspects (8 weeks), you can file an objection within 6 weeks of the decision being published. How to do this is stated in the published decisions.
• Does it concern an extended all-in-one permit for physical aspects (26 weeks)? Then it is issued a a draft decision. You can submit your opinion within 6 weeks. After that, a final decision will be made.. You can appeal to the district court within 6 weeks. You can send your letter to: [adres].

Good to know

You must not start work until you have obtained the permit. If you start before that, you may have to undo the work at your own expense.
