Municipality Weert: Applying for an environment and planning permit
Go to the online service counter Omgevingsloket (in Dutch) to check if you need an environment and planning permit (omgevingsvergunning). In the Omgevingsloket you can see which rules apply in your municipality. You can then use the Omgevingsloket to apply online for an environment and planning permit or submit a notification.
Good to know
You must not start work until you have obtained the permit. If you start before that, you may have to undo the work at your own expense.
- Go to the Omgevingsloket
- Do the ‘vergunningcheck’.
- See whether you need a permit.
You can apply immediately (online) for the permit. Log in with Digid (for yourself) or with e-Herkenning (business)
The costs depend on which permit you apply for. Even if you are not granted the permit you have to pay . For more information, see: www.weert.nl/legesverordening
The municipality will need 8 weeks (standard procedure) to assess your application. It will sometimes take 26 weeks (extended procedure). This will be the case, for example, if you want something different from what is stated in the Omgevingsplan (Environmental and land-use plan). The municipality can extend the period once for a period of 6 weeks.
You can view the list of permit applications and decisions on www.weert.nl/bekendmakingen.
Do you want to object? In this case, the following rules apply:
- For a standard all-in-one permit for environmental and/or spatial aspects (8 weeks), you can file an objection within 6 weeks of the decision being published. How to do this is stated in the published decisions.
- Does it concern an extended all-in-one permit for environmental and/or spatial aspects (26 weeks)? Then it is issued as a draft decision. You can submit your opinion within 6 weeks. After that, a final decision will be made. You can appeal to the district court within 6 weeks.
