For certain activities on or around your home or business premises, you need an environment permit. For example, if you are going to (re)build, demolish, install an alarm system or want to cut down a tree.

If you have plans, but you do not know whether or  not you need an environment permit for this, then do the permit check. Please note: the permit check provides an indication, you cannot derive any rights from it. It is also possible that you also need other permits or notifications based on other regulations.

If you are having problems with the permit check or if you still have questions, you can always contact team Bouwen en wonen. It is also possible to make an appointment to discuss your plans. You must then have detailed plans.

The fee you have to pay depends on the type of permit you apply for. Please note that you also have to pay the fee if your application is rejected.

You will receive a message from us within 8 weeks. The municipality can extend this period by 6 weeks. Sometimes we need advice and approval from another organization (competent authority). Then another 4 weeks will be added.

Do you disagree with the municipality's decision? Then file an objection within 6 weeks.
