Municipality Smallingerland: Environment and planning permit for environmentally harmful activities
Environmental management notification
Are you setting up a new business or changing the activities in your current business? Make sure that your business complies with the environmental rules. Sometimes an environmental permit is needed, sometimes a notification is enough. This will depend on the type of business and the activities of your business. Check using the Business Activities Decree Internet Module (AIM) whether your business falls under the Business Activities Decree and submit a notification. Are you not covered by the Business Activities Decree? Apply for an environmental permit via the Environmental Portal. You can find more information about the Business Activities Decree on the website Informatiepunt Leefomgeving. Or ask your professional or trade association.
