An event is any entertainment event open to the public. You often then need an event licence (evenementenvergunning). Is it a small-scale event? Then check whether a notification will suffice. You can find the rules on the municipality's website.

The municipality's website provides information on how and for which events you need to apply for an event licence.

Notifying the event

You apply for an event permit via https://www.baarle-nassau.nl/grootevenement. Be sure to include all requested attachments. Submit the form on time (at least 12 weeks before the start of the event).

You pay fees for applying for an event licence. How much these fees are depends on the type of event.

You will be notified within 8 to 10 weeks. The municipality may extend this notice period once.
