Buildings must meet fire safety regulations. As an owner or occupant, you are responsible for this.

In some cases, you must notify the municipality that you are going to use the building. For example when starting a café.

You can find out if you need to make a notification by running the permit check on the online service counter Omgevingsloket (in Dutch).

The result of the permit check on Omgevingsloket, will tell you which documents you must enclose.

Applying or submitting a notification

  1. Go to the online service counter Omgevingsloket (in Dutch).
  2. Run a permit check to see if you must submit a notification.
  3. If you have to submit a notification, you can do so at once via the online service counter Omgevingsloket. Log in with DigiD (for individuals) or eHerkenning (for businesses).

Free of charge.

You will be notified no later than 4 weeks after your notification.
