Municipality Culemborg: Operating permit for a catering establishment

Find out moreThe following conditions apply to applying for an operating permit:
- The permit applies to the person and the building. If you take over a company, you need a new permit.
- The activity must fit into the zoning plan.
- The exploitation of the establishment may not lead to disruption of the residential and social climate in the area.
- The Bibob study has a positive result.
- The terrace is part of the operating permit. A separate terrace permit is no longer required.
- You may only operate the establishment once you have the permit.
To apply for an operating permit, you need the following:
- A completed operating permit application form.
- A valid ID, passport, driver’s license or identity card from the manager.
- The rental, purchase or purchase contract.
- A map of the facility. This must clearly state the dimensions (length, width and height) and the surface area in m2 of the publicly accessible areas. On the map you must indicate where the bar, kitchen, toilets are.

An operating permit costs: € 318,00
It takes up to 8 weeks to get an operating permit.The municipality may extend this period once by another 8 weeks. The municipality will request information from other authorities if necessary.
