Do you run a company in the Netherlands and do you want to park your car near your business premises? You sometimes need a business parking permit or a dispensation from your municipality. For example if you want to carry out work in a location where you are not allowed to park. The criteria for obtaining a parking permit may differ per municipality.

Use of the roadside

In many municipalities, it is not allowed to use the roadside as a place to park, or as a location for your stall or van. You can apply for an exemption from this ban to your municipality.

Parking on a provincial road

Do you want to park your vehicle on a provincial road? Then you may need to apply for dispensation from the provincial authorities.

You can apply for dispensation to park on a provincial road also via Message Box. Message Box is a secure email system that enables you as an entrepreneur to exchange digital messages with Dutch government agencies.
