Only gaming machine halls and catering establishments can obtain an attendance licence.

High-threshold establishments

• Catering establishments such as pubs, bars, restaurants and nightclubs are high-threshold establishments
• The activities of high-threshold establishments are mainly intended for persons over 18 years old
• High-threshold establishments may have a maximum of 3 gaming machines, including 2 gaming machines

Low-threshold establishments

• Catering establishments such as snack bars, canteens, lunchrooms and ice cream parlours are low-threshold establishments
• Low-threshold establishments may not have any gaming machines such as fruit machines
• Low-threshold establishments may have a maximum of 2 games of skill such as pinball machines

Licence conditions

• You have a high-threshold establishment
• You have an operating licence for your business
• You have an alcohol law licence for your business
• There are no other activities in your business, such as a bowling centre

Apply for the attendance licence from the municipality.

• Name and address of the catering establishment
• Name and address of the person holding the operating licence for the machines
• The number of gaming machines
• The application form for gaming machines
