Cafe or restaurant
Cafés and restaurants are allowed to install slot machines and machines of skill. A license is required for a gambling machine (slot machine). You can apply for a license for a maximum of two gaming machines.
Sports canteen or snack bar
Snack bars and canteens may only have agility machines. No permit is required for this.
Find out moreYou may only place a slot machine in the following situations:
- You have a liquor and catering permit.
- The café or restaurant visit stands on its own. There are no other activities that are independent (such as a bowling center).
- You focus your activities on persons aged 18 and older.
You can apply for a permit by sending an e-mail to vbt@hoorn.nl. They will then send you the application form.
Permit for 1 year:
- for one slot machine: € 56.50
- for two slot machines: € 90.50
You will receive a response to your application within 8 weeks.
