Municipality Maassluis: Permit for gaming machines and amusement arcades

If you want to install a gaming machine, you need a  Attendance permit. It is only possible if you have a high-treshold establishment. An establishment is high-treshold if:

• the location is used as a café or restaurant
• you have a valid alcohol and catering licence for this location
• the activities are suitable for persons aged 18 and over

To apply for a gaming machine licence, you also need other permits:

• For a high-treshold establishment, you need a valid alcohol license.

Good to know

• The gaming machine licence is valid for three years . You must make sure to renew your gaming machine licence on time.
• The licence is personal: you are the only person who may use it.
