You need a market permit (marktvergunning) to sell products at a market.

We want to diversify our market offerings as much as possible. This is why we only provide two liscences per product section.

You can apply for the market permit online. You can log in with DigiD or eHerkenning and complete the application form.

You can also apply for the permit at your municipality’s service counter. You should make an appointment to do this.

The application for a market permit costs: € 2,30per square meter, with a minimum of € 9,30.

You pay a fee for this service. The fee is € 71,35. For more information, contact the municipality.

You will get a response to your application within 8 weeks.
