Do you have a business and do you want to develop a plan for innovation on a cybersecurity project? You may be eligible for the Cybersecurity Innovation Fund (CIF-NL).

When are you eligible?

You can apply for the CIF-NL alone or in collaboration with up to 3 other organisations. You must meet the conditions, including:

  • The project's lead time is at most 1 year.
  • Your business must be established in the Netherlands.
  • Co-applicants, if any, must be based in the European Union.
  • Your project should fall within the categories of industrial research, experimental development, or a feasibility study.
  • Your project is not only focused on your own company but also has the potential to succeed in the national and international market.

Your project must contribute at least 1 of these 2 subareas:

  • promoting crypto-agility
  • simplifying cybersecurity solutions

Check all conditions for the CIF-NL at the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland, RVO, in Dutch).

How to apply?

You can apply for the CIF-NL subsidy from 9 December 2025, 9:00 hours until 10 February 2026, 17:00 hours to the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO, in Dutch). You need eHerkenning level 3 to apply.
