The Golden Pyramid Prize

Once every 2 years, the Dutch government awards the Golden Pyramid (Gouden Piramide) to an 'inspiring commissioning party' in architecture, urban planning, landscape or interior architecture, spatial planning, or infrastructure. The Golden Pyramid award consists of a monetary prize and a statue.

When do you qualify?

You can file an application for projects for which you have commissioned one or more architects, urban planners, landscape architects, or interior designers. 

A project does not necessarily have to be a new project. You can also apply for repurposing projects, renovations, or temporary use projects. 

A project must be completed or approaching completion between 1 January 2024 and 31 December 2025.

How to apply

The registration period is closed. You could register your project until 29 January 2026.
