Subsidy or grant

Do you work in the field of music, theatre, musical theatre, or dance in the Netherlands? You can apply for subsidies from the Performing Arts Fund  (Fonds Podiumkunsten).

The fund offers subsidies for artists, producers, theatres, and festivals. You can find an overview of grants at the Performing Arts Fund website, or you can follow the steps of their Grant Finder.

When do you qualify?

Different conditions apply to the various subsidy schemes. You should check the conditions for the scheme you want to apply for carefully. For most grants, to be eligible the applicant or organisation must reside in the Netherlands. However, for a number of grants you can also apply as an organisation outside the Netherlands. Find more information on internationalisation on the FPK website, or contact the organisation.

How to apply?

You apply for subsidy digitally to the Performing Arts Fund via their My Fund portal. Check the subsidy you are interested in for the application dates and conditions. For more information on the process you can consult the Frequently Asked Questions.
