Performing arts subsidy schemes

Do you work in the field of music, theatre, musical theatre, or dance in the Netherlands? You can apply for a subsidy from the Performing Arts Fund (Fonds Podiumkunsten).

What are the conditions?

The fund offers subsidies for artists, producers, theatres, and festivals. You can find an overview of grants at the Performing Arts Fund website. Different conditions apply to the various subsidy schemes. You should check the conditions for the scheme you want to apply for carefully. For most grants, the applicant or organisation must reside in the Netherlands. However, for a number of grants you can also apply as an organisation outside the Netherlands.

How to apply?
