Do you want to participate in an international trade fair with other Dutch companies from your sector? Sector organisations and membership organisations for small and medium-sized entreprises (SMEs), and Trade and Innovate NL (TINL) partners may be eligible for the Strategic Trade Fair Subsidy Programme (SBP).

The Strategic Trade Fair Programme enables a group of Dutch SMEs to present themselves at an international trade fair. SMEs from Aruba, Curaçao, Sint Maarten, Bonaire, Sint Eustatius, and Saba can also participate. This also helps companies to increase their business opportunities abroad.

This subsidy programme is a merger of MKB Lounge and SBP.

When do you qualify?

As a sector organisation, membership organisation, or TINL partner (in Dutch), you can apply for an SBP subsidy if you meet the conditions, such as:

  • You have included international business in your multi-year strategy.
  • You have an internationalisation strategy for your sector.
  • You are established in the Netherlands, Aruba, Curaçao, Sint Maarten, Bonaire, Sint Eustatius, or Saba.
  • You have at least 2 years of experience in organising activities for international trade fairs.
  • You comply with the OECD guidelines for Responsible Business Conduct (RBC).
  • Your sector organisation or membership organisation has at least 10 paying members.
  • You apply for a subsidy in 1 of the 3 categories.

How to apply?

You can apply for the Strategic Trade Fair Subsidy Programme (SBP) to the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) from 23 February 2026, 12:00 hours until 20 March 2026, 17:00 hours.
