Do you have an SME and would you like support to engage in responsible business conduct? The Responsible Business Conduct Subsidy for SMEs (Subsidie Verantwoord Ondernemen MKB, SVOM) supports you in applying due diligence to identify, prevent, and mitigate risks in your supply chain.

This subsidy helps you to cover costs for measures such as setting up an international RBC policy, or performing risk analysis. And you can use it to help prepare for – indirect –requirements stemming from legislation.

When do you qualify?

To be eligible for this subsidy you have to meet the conditions, such as:

  • Your company is based in the Netherlands or conducts activities in the Netherlands
  • Your company is independent or partially independent
  • You have a maximum of 250 employees
  • You have an annual turnover of €50 million or less, or an annual balance sheet total of €43 million or less
  • Your project contributes to at least 1 of the 6 steps in the OECD guidelines for due diligence in your company's operational processes.

In addition, there are further conditions that apply to SVOM (in Dutch). For example, conditions for the activities you wish to carry out with the subsidy.

How to apply?

You could apply for the SVOM (in Dutch) until 31 December 2025, 15:00 hours to the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO).
