Circular implementation and upscaling subsidy (CIO)

Does your company want to reuse products or materials? For example, by repairing, high-quality recycling, or remaking parts. Or do you want to expand your capacity to do so? You can apply for the Circular implementation and upscaling subsidy scheme (subsidie Circulair implementeren en opschalen, CIO).

When do you qualify?

You can apply for the CIO subsidy if you meet the conditions, among others:

• you use the subsidy to implement or to scale up your circular activities, not to explore opportunities
• your project meets the requirements for an organisational innovation (application of an organisational method new to your business) or for a process innovation (new or greatly improved production or delivery methods, with obvious changes in techniques, equipment, or software)(in Dutch)
• your project is focused on 1 of these product groups:

  • electronic and electrical appliances
  • textiles
  • incontinence materials and diapers
  • reusable cups and meal packages
  • furniture

How can you apply?

You can apply for the Circular implementation and upscaling subsidy scheme to RVO from 30 January 2025 9:00 hours until Tuesday 8 April 2025 12:00 hours. You can prepare your application in advance (in Dutch).
