Do you have a business or research organisation and do you want to develop a plan for innovation on a cybersecurity project? You may be eligible for the Cybersecurity Innovation Fund (CIF-NL).

When are you eligible?

You can apply for the CIF-NL alone or in collaboration with another organisation. You must meet the conditions, among others:

  • The project's lead time is a maximum of 6 months.
  • Your business or research organisation must be located in the Netherlands.
  • Co-applicants must be based in the European Union.
  • If you wish to use the de minimis aid scheme, you may not work in certain sectors (in Dutch).

If you have a business, your project should fall within the categories of fundamental research, industrial research, experimental development, or a feasibility study.

If you have a research organisation, you can apply for non-economic research activities which fall within the categories of fundamental research, industrial research, experimental development, or a feasibility study.

Your project must contribute to one or more of these 4 subareas:

  • automation of cybersecurity solutions
  • staff retention and development
  • proportionate, secure and privacy-friendly data sharing
  • developing or upscaling small-scale cybersecurity solutions

How to apply?

You cannot apply for the CIF-NL subsidy at the moment.
