Subsidy or grant

Does insufficient capacity on the electricity grid (grid congestion) prevent you from growing your business or from making it more sustainable? The Flex-e subsidy helps you find and take workarounds that allow your business to grow or become more sustainable.

The Flex-e-subsidy consists of 3 parts:

  • a Flexibility scan (in Dutch) to help you find out how you can use electricity more flexibly
  • a Feasibility study (in Dutch) to help you find out which measures are financially and technically feasible
  • Flexibility measures (in Dutch) to help you invest in measures to make your energy use more flexible

When do you qualify for the Flex-e subsidy?

The Flex-e subsidy is for businesses that use electricity in bulk (grootverbruikers). You are a bulk consumer if your contract allows you to purchase 100 kW or more. You must submit a separate application for the Flex-e subsidy for each branch of your company. You can only apply for Flex-e for business locations that are established in areas with problems due to grid congestion

You must meet all conditions specific to the subsidy you apply for:

How to apply for the Flex-e subsidy?

You can apply for the Flex-e-subsidy with the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) (in Dutch) from 1 April until 15 October 2025, 17:00 hour.
