Is your company located in one of the northern provinces Drenthe, Friesland or Groningen? And does your enterprise contribute to innovation and sustainability in the region? You may be eligible for a subsidy from the Northern Netherlands Alliance (Samenwerkingsverband Noord-Nederland, SNN).

SNN is a cooperation of the three northern provinces Drenthe, Friesland and Groningen, together with the municipalities of Groningen, Leeuwarden, Assen and Emmen. SNN represents the Operational Programme North Netherlands (OP Noord) and implements EU subsidy programmes, such as the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), REACT-EU and the Rural Development Programme (Plattelandsontwikkelingsprogramma, POP3+).

Who can apply?

SNN offers subsidies to a wide variety of enterprises, such as SMEs. Each subsidy has different criteria for applications. You can read more about the individual criteria using SNNs subsidy guide (in Dutch).

How to apply?

You can apply for a subsidy through the SNN eLoket. You can register for an account or log in using eHerkenning level 2 or higher. Make sure your application meets the conditions of the subsidy you apply for and has the required documentation of the subsidy for which you apply. You can find the details on SNNs subsidy guide (in Dutch).
