Exporting offers your company new opportunities. It can lead to increased turnover, and also be the answer to increasing competition in the domestic market. With its Starters International Business (SIB) programmeExternal link, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs helps companies that are aiming to move into foreign markets.


Exporting allows you to spread your risks better. But what’s the right way to go about this? What are your strengths? Which markets offer opportunities? And what should you do to take advantage of these opportunities? There are three different vouchers:

Since the beginning of 2018, entrepreneurs from Aruba, Curaçao and St. Maarten and the special Dutch municipalities Bonaire, St. Eustatius and SabaExternal link are also eligible for the SIB programme.

How to apply

To apply companies registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce KVK) can use eHerkenning (eRecognition) level 1 (EH1).
