Are you working on a project that can help realise the goals listed in the National Climate Agreement? And do you work together with other parties? You may be eligible for the extra opening under the MOOI subsidy: Systems solutions for large-scale generating of renewable electricity (MOOI-SIGOHE, in Dutch). The original subsidy for Mission-driven Research, Development and Innovation (MOOI, in Dutch) is closed.

MOOI-SIGOHE

In 2021 there is a special, extra opening for Systems solutions for large-scale generating of renewable electricity (MOOI-SIGOHE, in Dutch). This subsidy is meant for cross-sectoral systems solutions that are carried out by broad partnerships. Innovations for various elements are for instance:

  • generation
  • transport and distribution
  • storage and conversion
  • usage

A project consists generation of renewable electricity plus at least 1 of the other 3 elements.

When do you qualify?

The project you apply for should have a duration of at most 4 years. And the innovations should be ready for implementation in 2030 at the latest. This need not be large-scale at that time, but should at least be ready for demonstration purposes. Several other conditions apply as well (in Dutch).

How to apply?

You can submit your plan (prenotification) for MOOI-SIGOHE to the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (in Dutch) from 13 April 09:00 hours until 4 May 2021, 17:00 hours. You can apply for the subsidy from 6 July 09:00 hours until 7 September 2021, 17:00 hours. Read more on the application process (in Dutch).

The MOOI scheme for 2020 is closed. You can not apply for this subsidy.
