What changes?

Do you employ 250 or fewer employees, but more than 100? In the future you will no longer have to report on the business travel and commuting of your employees.

Businesses with 100 or fewer employees are already exempt from reporting the number of kilometres travelled by their employees (mileage records). This threshold will go up to 250 employees. With this change the government wants to reduce the administrative burden on SMEs.

For whom?

  • entrepreneurs who employ more than 100 but fewer than 251 employees

When?

It is not yet known when this change to the reporting obligation for work-related mobility of persons (WPM) will come into force.

Please note: The effective date of this measure is not yet final. Entry into force is subject to its passing through the Lower and Upper Houses (Tweede en Eerste Kamer) of parliament. After publication in the Staatsblad or Staatscourant (Government Gazette, in Dutch) the law can take effect.
