Small breweries will pay more excise duty

For whom? 

• small independent breweries that produce no more than 200,000 hectolitres per year 

What changes? 

Do you run a small brewery with a production of less than 200,000 hectolitres of beer per year? Then you will be paying more excuse duty. The small brewers' scheme will end. The rate of the excise duty for small brewers will be the same as for other brewers 

When? 

It is expected the small brewery scheme will end on 1 January 2028.
