What changes?

The government is temporarily reducing the heavy vehicle charge (truck toll) by 22.3%. This will result in lower costs for business owners who must pay the truck toll. The reason for this is the sharp rise in fuel prices caused by the conflict in the Middle East.

When?

The reduced rates for the truck toll apply from 1 September 2026 until 31 December 2026.
