On December 19, 2013, the city council decided to privatize the weekly market. As of January 1, 2014, the weekly market of Bergeijk (Tuesday) is organized by the foundation de Markt van Morgen. This foundation was founded by the Central Association for Ambulatory Trade (CVAH) and organizes weekly markets in a large number of municipalities. The starting point of the foundation is that the stand holders of a weekly market organize this market themselves, in which the foundation has a supporting and advisory role.

  • The foundation is responsible for the day-to-day affairs and the orderly running of the weekly market. If you have any questions or complaints about this, you can contact (one of) the stand holders directly.
  • The sale may start at 11 a.m. and must end at 5 p.m. The foundation is responsible for compliance with the sales times.
  • The foundation allocates pitches without the intervention of the municipality. With this, the foundation is responsible for the (branch) offer on the weekly market.

Do you want to take a stand at the weekly market of Bergeijk. Please contact: Mr. B. van Deuren (fishmonger Hollands Roem) +31 (0)6 - 53 29 13 21.
